Which HK Habicht ?

Guys,

I was thinking that one of the HK Habicht's would be a nice semi scale project that I could have some fun with on the slope. The question is which one, the 2.4M or the 2.6M version is really the "better" kit.

I have ready some feedback that states that the fuselage on the 2.4 can be brittle.

Aside from the fuselage, I'd really like some first hand comments on the overall quality, fit and finish, and fly-ability of these two models.

I expect to get what I pay for, I just want to buy the better of the two.

TIA for any thoughts.

The red 2.6m version is the better of the two. Have a look at these two threads:

I have the 2.4 Blue model and its a very good quality model and flies very well, but as you mentioned, on the first hard landing, the fuselage nose, cracked into a dozen pieces and now I'm going to have to fiberglass the front end, or buy a new full kit as replacement.

Thanks guys for the input.

Looks like I'm going for the 2.6M version.

Never had an issue with my 2.4m . She flys very well and the fuselage seems strong enough to me.
