Very nice Radian C-GBEN. I have a very similar setup on mine (ground-station also). I haven't been able to fly it much either lately due to the wind. Two things i advise you is to find another way to secure the canopy to the fuse, esp if you plan to leave the camera attached to it. Mine was detached twice already and i can tell you it is NOT easy to land FPV when your camera is hanging off the side of your plane. Another thing is (this may differ for you), i was having some pretty noticeable interference problems even with a LC filter(i use one batt for everything) UNTIL i faced the v antenna in the opposite direction (< facing tail) and have crystal clear video even on full throttle.

Funjet : De quebec !! Toi mon ami tu est mon mentor !! J'adore tes videos specialement ceux au dessus des bateaux !! Toi et Saucisse m'avez donner le trip du fpv !!

Dmastax1x : For the canopy I would use robust elastic for securing it. And for my video system I have a dedicated battery I don't know yet if I interference I still have my maiden flight. At worst I move v antenna away as possible of the nose of the aircraft but reversed I do not want to lose the video by returning a base! Tanks for tips And tanks all !!

C GBEN that is a very sexy radian you have got there! I like the yellow/red paintjob you did. High visibility for sure.

Is harder to keep her up with 2 batteries, but I still had power to go up I need to find a smaller battery for the tx, it was a little windy I was unable to keep a straight flight, my landing was gliding

The camera is very good, very sharp and adjust fast to any light condition 0.008lux it sees much better than my CCD camera both using IR filters. the time around 5:40-6pm the I believe the sun was down already, you can see christmas light on in the houses. Is the only time during the day yesterday that the wind was a little calm.

blueshy : Tanks !! the yellow and red curiously is fine for search on the ground in case of plane lost... but black is the best color for viewing plane in hight altitude in the blue sky or grey sky !!
This is the reason why it is below black and colored at the top ! Here in the winter when it loses white aircraft in the snow he disappears!
Both color make a perfect plane for FPV Or the conditions are right has lost its equipment. For the beginners It's best i think !!

C GBEN, make sure you use a spotter, or you WILL lose your plane.
Cheers

So much for being indestructible...

Well, I thought this one was indestructible. Then it met a concrete post at 65 mph...

I was low flying at wide open throttle slaloming through light posts. I pulled up a little too soon...

The camera is trashed. It hit so hard the element broke free and the lens shattered. The pan servo is also wrecked. i might be able to salvage it if I replace all the gears. The airplane, however, is repairable

Video coming soon

Satriani works well with this flying tempo.... Repairs look ok for a head-on collision with an immovable object...great stuff
