I'll post some data later. However compared to the Airhog 7mm motors, these Flyzone motors put out a lot more RPM. One homemade 6 blade rotor I tried, on AH 7mm motor that was only pushing 6g thrust consistant. Placed it on the new FZ 7mm motor and it put out 8.9g thrust with only around 0.5A. So there is room to grow. Quite shocked to see 9.3g thrust on a fresh battery in a 22mm fan using brushed motors. These motors should be able to burst about 1A, so if I can get one running at 0.8A and pushing more thrust I would be one happy camper.
Funny thing is the original aluminum 4 blade rotor I made, new FZ 7mm motor, was eating 0.8A, and pushing only 8.2g thrust?????? So the 6 blade rotor was kicking butt and using less power. My rotors are not rocket science, and some TLAR in bending them up to pitch and such leaves something to be desired. Thinking out loud, If I get the same results with the BIM Rotor that UNGN got, then I might try to talk Kev into making up a BIM 6 blade, or mess with some pitch and such. More later! Fred

You also Kev. Always a great day for Family, good food, and gratitude to the good life we have here in the United States and all it's opportunities.
I also wanted to say sorry for posting some testing of the 22mm units in this new thread. I was thinking of the original BIM Fan units that I bought which were 22mm and forgot so many new sizes exist. As such, this thread should have been kept clean and concise for the efforts of supply and sales. So if I was derailing you thread sorry. I will be doing my testing of my 22mm BIM Fan units, and application of them into an airframe here: Mirage 22mm EDF Thread. Thanks again Kev. Fred
