I started my scratchbuild of my A29 - Embraer Super Tucano. The fuselage, stabilizer, rudder and wings are cutted, glued and sanded. It has 120cm wingspam.
As the final weight will be something like 1.100kg, I was thinking about this AXI,
what do you think, will fit properly?
AXI 2814/10 GOLD LINE
The next step is to cut the bubble off to make the canopy with vacuum forming. Iīll have also to think how to make the cockpit.
The stabilizer was reinforced with carbon fiber rod, and Iīll also do that with the fuselage. This project was made for install the wings removable, with a rod that cross the fuselage, and in each panel wing, another rod. (I donīt know the name of this process in english). I have never made a project like this and Iīll have to study to do that. Once I want to put retracts, will this method of instalation of the wings bother me?
I donīt know if Iīll put vinil to cover all the plane or airbrush it, what you suggest?
My last project was a T27 Tucano (see atached the pic)
Here is the warbird at the moment. Itīs important to say that the stabilizer, rudder and the end of the fuselage is not glued, just put toghtere t take the picture, thatīs why is not so simetrical.

Here is a few more progress. Iīve installed the tail details and made the cockpit in vaccum forming machine. Also the wings are reinforced with carbon fiber rods.
The eletronic will be:
Prop: APC 10x6 E
3s 2500mAh 3s
2 for ailerons HS-65MG
2 for flaps BMS-375DD
1 rudder HS-65MG
1 elevator HS-65MG
Please comments will be appreciated

Thank you Rajazo!
A few more progress today. I made the motor exit details with foam, than I applied epoxy, to let it harder and painted it. I decided to make my own the wheels, so I went to the downtown today morning and bought the material. I like so much the result, once you can make how many wheels you desire and with any size
As my canopy was not so perfect, I decided to make another one. Here I show you my vacuum forming machine, I built it myself.
Thatīs it for today, hope you enjoy

While the eletronics are still travelling, I worked today on the cockpit. The seat and front panel made by foam, covered with 1mm balsa.
I already decided the color scheme, will be the A29 from Indonesia Air Force.
Hope you enjoy it
