Flying Beagle's Zeppelin-Staaken XIV R Bomber 2nd Flight
Here is the second flight of Jim's Staaken bomber. The flight was on Friday, July 11 at the Mid America E-fly event in Ann Arbor, MI.

thank you very much for taking these photos and great video
and also for posting them so quickly after driving back home today.
we had a great weekend, even with the weather.

That looks really nice Jim!
Great to see a rarely modeled bird...and one that seems to be well detailed. You also did a fine job of bucking that wind with those mile-wide sails.

A VERY special model !! ....well done Flying Beagle...it had great *presence* in the air........and is a credit to your skill and the choice of prototype was perfect.
Many models I see are great and I'm very impressed....but after seeing this ...I really want to build one.....and I am a WW2 Warbird nut !

Awsome job on the Staaken. It looks fantastic in the air. I am glad that you were able to get the kinks worked out. It flies very nicely and looks great in the air.
