Nice looking charger but $110 for a 100 watt max charger is pretty sporty...

Good luck!

Thanks
Compare this to the other one on the market that is a touch screen DC 60 WATT its not a bad value.
It costs 100.00
This is 110.00 and is AC/DC powered and 100 WATT with a higher resolution color touch screen
We also ship free over 100.00

Does the X400 support any type of regenerative discharging? Either with a deep cycle or maybe channel to channel?

Basically to simplify the question, what all can the charger due with the energy it takes out of the lipo that you are discharging? Many of the new chargers on the market (PL8, PL8 DUO, and Duo Ichargers) can take the energy from a lipo and put it back into a deep cycle battery. The Duo Ichargers not only allow for this type of regenerative discharging, but they also support channel to channel regenerative discharging. This basically means you can plug a fully charged pack into one port and a discharged pack into the other port and use the fully charged one to charge the other pack.

Just purchased this charger off Hobby King, been using it, and for fifty dollars its a steal. Of course there is the ten dollar shipping charge. But I would say its definately worth the money they are asking for it. Very convenient because i can just plug it into the wall.

Have tried my X100 a few days now. Really satisfied with it. Don't have so much to say otherwise than I'm happy with my purchase. This will serve well as a second/travel charger.

Hi.

After some readings on internet about x400 I've decided to buy it.
IN MY OPINION, it's crappy, maybe fw fault (2.14), I dont know.
Manual is written in some cinglese.
It does not respect charging settings.
Ex. 4S lipo 4000mah chg. 2A, dschg. 2A. It is discharging only with 1A. Lipo pack it's new.
3S lipo 1900mah, chg 1.8A, dschg 1.8A. It is discharging only with 1A. Lipo pack have 3 flights and cells were perfectly balanced. After 2 charges with this "charger" 1 cell it's way out of balance.
And no it's not from lipo packs, they'r Hyperion.
Charging 3S nimh AAA 850mah. Chg 0.3A. At 4.03v/pack it's charging with 0.1A (auto and manual charge). Changed settings to 1A charge. At 4.55v/pack, charging current rised to 0.2A (auto and manual).
I'm sorry to say but this was bad invested money.
