I actually do not own a laser or an Extra. I have been flying the 48 and 60 Edge and am slowly putting my 60 MXS together. I am looking forward to that one.

I did get to fly the 60 Laser which rolled blisteringly fast as I said. I am going to hold out for that one to come out (soon I hope) !

Probably not unless it's a 2815 or something. If it's a 2820 it should be fine.

I highly recommend both. I'll be building a new laser next week. Right now I only have one and I operate better when I have a backup.

As you can see, the Bud Light Laser did fly with the star and stripe on the wheel pant.

But, it also flew with a different design on it too.

Personally I like the star and stripe. I'm going to ask B and E to make one for my next decal sheet.

That will fit fine, it's what I'm using. The cowl does overlap the firewall by a fair bit but that just seems to be the way it's meant to be.

I'm running the 2820-750 on 4S. You will have to prob move your 3S pack all the way to the wing tube. My 4S 2600's are about 3/4" ahead of the tube.

I also decided to use a 5085 on the elevator. While not a necessary addition, it helped put some extra weight in the tail and the extra servo torque is also nice.

Yep, just don't go too heavy on the battery because the Laser will end up nose heavy. I have a 4s 2200mAh and the battery has top be snug up against the wing tube to get a neutral CG. You want to aim to balance on the former behind the wing tube which is a shade further back that the manual advises.

I am using 3S 2250 65 C Thunder Powers.... I am all done except the HS65's in the wings that have to come from Hitec repair and installing the SFG's.

OK, so I am almost all done. QUESTION--which decal should I use on the SFG's?? I am afraid they will get beat up on the asphalt and I am tempted to use the decals elsewhere. Thoughts?

ALSO-- the tail/rudder has two more decals that have to be applied with the 'comet tails' on them.

Carbon fiber spinner looks cool, hard to tell in the pic, but I was showing the gap anyway.




Can't wait to fly her, the kit went together really well and was fun to build!

I flew my first one for awhile on HS65MGs and it was fine. I believe all the testing Chris did in developing the plane was with HS65MGs on all surfaces.

That really looks good.

I'de say use the Team Extreme roundels on the SFGs and put one of the bulls on the top of the cowling about halfway back (or maybe just behind the cowling). You'll have a spare bull for your flightbox or the back window of your car!

That is what I was thinking... or use all on another plane.
