SUCESS!!!
the Eurgle from revolutionshop arrived this morning.(that was quick..) It seems that SingPost doesnt have the backlog that HKPost has. and.. no telescopic antenna, just a rubber stopper. What an odd box. the 9B I bought off a guy in Perth came in a large rectangular styro box, with a printed sleeve, and a full manual. This one came in a square styrofoam, barely bigger than the radio itself, and no printed/branded outer sleeve. and no manual. just a little slip of paper saying to download the manual from r2hobbies' site. http://r2hobbies.com/manuals/reps61207.pdf one down, one to go.... edit: had a good play with the menus on the Eurgle.... I remember the flysky seemed to be a little easier to navigate, and there's no menu item for turning that annoying beeper off. (maybe I havent found it yet..) wont matter much to those who update to er9x software.... |

Still waiting on the radio from Leadershobby.. it was shipped the day after Revoshop posted theirs, and I've had that one for over a week now.
they posted it through Swissair, and its taken 9 days to get processed through Zurich.... Revoshop used SingaporePost, and it arrived 4 days after dispatch. |

Leadershoby's unit just arrived... finally.
paid 26 Jan 2012, recd 4 May 2012. Flysky unit, doesnt have the telescopic antenna either. Display bezel not attahced, floating in the box.... easy to reattach, hope its not an indication of rough handling. but it did come in the full size packaging, and with a printed manual. good luck to all those waiting on theirs to be delivered!!!! edit: just opened up the radios.. not only is the telescopic no longer included, but the mount inside the radio where the antenna would have screwed in is missing too. So it looks like retro-fitting a 35/36/40/41 module is a little bit harder than first thought.... |
