Nice rides! Love the hot-rod aircraft hauler! That's what I'm looking for now - a hot-rod/daily-driver/aircraft hauler. Can't fit my large-scale stuff in the GTP.

Mike,
How does the big Mag corner with the Eibach upgrades & those 20s? She sure has a mean stance! ![]() Joel |

Thanks 7,
I think I have an account but never really hang out there. I'm usually on CustomMagnums.com. My handle there is Magnumpilot. Mike BTW..... I saw your mag back in the thread, its sweet. My next body mod is to work on the grill. I'm still considering options but right now I'm liking the SRT8 honeycombs and blackout the crossbars. Last weekend I removed the dodge badge off the rear hatch as well as the wiper and added a 300C spoiler. As soon as as it stops raining long enough to get it cleaned I'll try to get a pic but it really looks sweet. |
Well, I don't always comment, but I like a lot of the cars I've seen here. I truly admire the GN's, and just about anything that's clean and fun to drive.
Take a closer look, there's a lot of cars in this thread that get 0-1 comments. Mine included.
Good point. I also admire pretty much anything that's clean & fun. If it's fast, quick, fun, rare, uncommon, unusual, different, tastefully customized, original, nicely restored - it's cool by me! Doesn't matter where it was built or who built it. Joel |

It does handle nice but since I drive it daily I had to skimp on what I could afford for tires. Its a big car so it'll lose some grip if I really try to push it. Some UHP stickyies would lock it down. Its ALOT better than stock though and really fun. The other problem I'm not completely sure how to solve is the front caster amount. When I dropped it the camber went way off. The Eibach bushingsfor the rear fixed that and the Eibach upper arms for the front brought the camber back but it raked the caster like a chopper. I think I have like 21deg of caster. It shoots down the hiway like an arrow but it understeers fierce in the turns. I'm gonna raise the rear ride height a 1/4 inch which should help a little. I really wish I could find a Mopar LX chassis tuner here in San Diego. All kinds of guys that can install parts but no tuners that know these cars and whats available. I guess I'm gonna have to go spend some time up the coast in LA. Mike |

In fact I saw it when I was looking through the thread last night and it got me thinking. V6 Magnums can be had cheap. I wonder what it would take to go fast goodie one of the new Mopar 3.6L V6 and drop it in??? Hmmm.... I think I'm gonna read up more on that engine. It would sure lighten the rolling weight of these cars a little. |
