UMX Yak 54 180 BNF TELEMETRY???

I don't know about this but after binding the yak 54 mini to the DX6 New version it shows 3 screens when the set wheel is turned when set on this plane. Here are some pics of the 3 screens that come up. Other planes in this radio don't show these screens so why is it showing now? HH doesn't seem to know the answer but maybe their techs will know something if I ever connect with them. Anyone know the answer for this and what the 3 screens are for? Thanks Ron

The telemetry screen is standard display for most telemetry-ready TX's. It doesn't mean that the model itself supports telemetry, it's just part of the default display setting.

Most likely 'Flight Log' will work at micro planes with DSMX Rx, but nothing else.

The AS3X bricks support frameloss (F) and holds (H) telemetry.

But I don't think any spektrum telemetry systems are actually compatible with the micro bricks... are they?

You get the frameloss and hold values from the brick to the TX usefull for range check or for any problems with the RF-Link.
For other values/sensors you need the TM1000/TM1100 modul which can not connected to the brick and is also to heavy for micros. Some newer bigger rx have build-in telemetry but also to heavy for micro planes.

Is this just something that must be in the receiver but really not useable? Thanks Ron

Frameloss and holds are usable and more is not in the receiver.
I forget there is also the telemetry link signal strength with the "lines" on the left upper corner of the display.

yes, frame drops, holds, and rssi... that's all you're gonna get from an AS64xx brick. But as microheli pointed out, it'll assist you in knowing how your radio link is looking after a flight at whatever field you're flying.

Maybe I'll check this section after a flight and see what has been added to the screens. Thanks Ron

If they could get the UMX receivers to send back battery voltage, I'd buy a new controller to see it!
