Adapters... direct or wired better?

Which type of battery adapters are more reliable, or considered "better"? An adapter that has wires inbetween the two connectors, or one that is "directly" connected with no wires?

Whichever one works and is on hand. IMO, it don't matter unless it matters to the user. Tight on space? No wires. Have space or need distance, wires...

I'm not following, are you asking if you are losing anything by using a connector on your charger that has an adapter attached vs a hardwired connection from the charger to the plug?

There should be little to no voltage drop across the connection.

From a reliability standpoint it depends on the quality of the product. I have some straight connectors that are rock solid and have had others that the solder would just bend from push/pull on them whereas ones with wires in between the wires take the flexing and the push/pull never really stresses the joints. Space is the other issue typically.
