I found a picture of a radial engine and made a decal. I don't know if I like it though. I also added a battery holder from an Msr. An Mcx battery holder might be better, i think the Msr holder is harder to get the battery in and out of.

I think I might make a different decal. Thanks for the pics dave. What I need is a head-on pic of a wright 1820 cyclone radial engine without a prop or engine stand in the way. Having trouble finding a good one. Hence why I originally used the clip art pic. Any ideas?

Not many perfect face-on pics, but lots of pics.

Huge one in a T28 here, some copying/pasting/rotating could get rid of the prop.

Yeah thats where I was looking like you said not perfect pics. I think I skipped past the one on the yellow engine stand. That ones pretty good but not 100% head on. Wish I had the patience to do the copy/paste thing, not to savvy with the photo editing programs. Awesome picture if it wasn't for prop being in the way

K tried ungn's picture and it just didn't look right, ended up using pic with the engine on yellow stand. Looks good. No pics yet

The only mod I've done is adding a 2:1 water and glue mixture to the front end and underside to hopefully keep the plane looking fresh and new.

I have to agree, so far this is a fantastic flyer right out the box.

I'm sure I will eventually throw the gws 5043 prop on for a little extra oomph. I have it on my Champ along with the p-51 motor and Hyperion batteries and it really livened the plane up.

I was thinking about that canopy. Heard that it added weight but never really heard how much weight. Did it change your flight times enemyace? If so how much? And Just out of pure curiosity, could it be the same canopy out of guillow's balsa T-28 kit? I believe the guillows model and the parkzone model are similar in size. Just curious. Could buy guillows kit for ten bucks at my LHS and not have to wait for it.
