Still driving my 356B coupe (July of 62 she was produced) and my 74 Karmann Ghia cabriolet (the poor man's 356 Speedster). So between them there is 91 years on the road.

Karman Gia's were built very well. We had a coupe in the 60's. It was a dull gray when we bought it used. Earle Shieb painted it blue with a white top. $19.95 and they did a very good job after I prepped it. Volks missed a good market when they dropped it. I would buy another if they made one.

My brother in law has a 70 Karmann Ghia in red.
I think is a beatiful car.

I really liked your 356. They are amazingly hard to find here.

What kind of aviation fuel are you referring to here??

sports car?

It handles well and moves out quickly with its 1600cc twin port motor.

Not so big on the top speed, but it gets out of the hole quick!

I have tried 100 octane and it works well.

Cheers!

Mike
