Nice find. Looks like a new CS release.

I would expect that the 3200kv version would be a powerful 4S setup if the motor holds up.

Looks like the 2500kv and 3200kv motor choices were done to make these fans direct replacements in 64mm PNP airframes.
Thrust and amps are about the same as the equivalent 5/6 blade setups.

yea I'd get just the blades and swap it for more kv. 3200-3600 would give some nice thrust.. Probally around 1.2kg and up depending on kv and watts. Just gotta watch the amps for the esc......... I'm looking to upgrade my 64mm also...The DPS 10 blade has a 2950-3300 motor in it and is getting 1.4kg.... $63.55.. and it is a aluminum housing. So if I can't get something cheaper overall than DPS.. Then I'll just by that... I need 2 for my jet so looking for alternative....

how the hell can we get 8mm motor shaft for this fan?????
typo? hopefully :-)

the photo shows the fan comes with two adapters, I guess it would
be 3,2mm and 4mm adapter as normal.

but I hope we can use extremerc or tam adaptors on this fan.
That would be nice :-)

Ill be snagging one of these for sure.....cant beat that sound. I originally had the HK DPS 10-blade unit installed in my Freewing F15, but the unit was just too heavy, so I took it out and put the stock 4s system in (and love it). This will obviously be lighter than the DPS, so this is going to be a good option for me.

Yea I just bought 2 for my Dynam Twin Turbo jet... It was already pushing 1.77kg of thrust stock on 4s and high timing on esc's... I'm hoping to get the sound and another 200 grams or so of thrust to put me over 2.0kg.... Now that would be cool!!!! Plane only ways 1.4kg fully loaded....

so what is the size of the other collet? 8mm?

what is the size of the motor housing? 28mm or????
if it is 28mm then this 2700KV motor would be a good choice for
4S and high power, the motor weight is only 80gr.

The fan comes with two collets, one is 3.17mm and the other is 4mm. The fan motor mounting area is 20.8mm I.D. My fan and spinner combination is out of ballance a lot. This will give me something to work on while I wait for the motor.

The above HobbyPartz motor is a 26mm wth a 19.9mm c-face (mounting flange).

thanks for the info :-)

I have little experience with balancing the fan.
I just bought the factory static balanced fans from wemotec, het
and use them without the spinners, with inrunner motors to avoid
out of balance issues. Some are great, some are OK .

here is a video flyer balanced the bell of his outrunner motor.
It is neat though

How to precision balance an outrunner motor bell (3 min 46 sec)
