Sorry, I looked up your serial and yes your unit is a V1E so it is in the recall. Send it back to me and I'll get it back to you quickly. I am sending them out next day at the moment.

RECALLING ALL V1E UNITS

I just posted the recall notice on the web site:

Get them in quick. I am caught up in everything so I am getting them back out quickly. I'm trying to get them back out the next day so you'll only be grounded for a week or so (US customers).

Sorry for the inconvenience guys. It pains me to have to recall but it is the right thing to do.

If anyone is concerned about the recall or after service, don't be. Collin and his people were great. I sent mine back 10 days ago, it's back already and works great.

Amen to that. A great example of professionalism and taking ownership of a product.

I know he likes to see this, I know that he is dealing with a trying thing . but he would rather fix them all than, to have you guys doubt his products and his company.

Colin is a great guy and stands behind what he sells and never tries to hide an issue he knows about no matter how small it may be. Great to see people like that in this hobby, makes it nice working with people like this.

Colin told me that we should get the fastest gps we can find.
The reason is the slower the gps is the less reliable it is out in the field. Plus it takes up band with on the boards.
But I have seen that module work before.
I just didn't know how or what to compare it against.

The one he is working on has a 20hz cycle and the board does not have to wait for the module to send the data. faster refresh rate eqauls a smoother flying multi-rotor.

Can't wait for Colin's GPS!!! I've been looking for something that even comes close to what he has in prototype and can't find anything I trust.

It looks like the crystal put us all back a couple more weeks.
Maybe it will turn out that he will have all he needs to make a bunch.
