After the upgrade I cant arm the motors . The red program recognizes my controller with functions and even the serial Number, but the motors wont arm. There are some rumours down here in Aus, that DJI have put block in the firmware to kill the controller after the upgrade from Lite to V2, is that correct?. Brian

Actually in most cases you can but i will still recommend to do setup and calibrations all over again.

Hi Mark l have tried to download that upgrade and I still cant arm mtrs Tahoe Ed says that DJI did not put a block on program, but it seams that I am not the only one with this problem.I have heard down here in Aus that if after the download you hook up to DJI something strange happens to your Naza lite, I still cant arm, even after the RED program recognizes my MC even with the serial no. and all of the controls work , still no motors , Cheers Brian

Need some help.

I recently gave a Naza V1 to a nice young DIY teen in the hobby, he lives several states away, so I cant directly assist him.

He is having issues connecting to assistant.

Correct assistant is loaded...ie not naza lite
Tried different USB cables
He did get it connected once, and was able to make some changes
When connected to lipo, no USB connection, he is getting flashing reds

I wonder could it be an issue with the S/N, I seem to remember logging into naza assistant on DJI servers, could the SN be registered to my user ID?, and not work for him? I asked him to try connecting with no internet connection next.

Any ideas? its been a while since I've run a Naza.

It's the dji driver, tell him to instill the driver and read the popups or uninstall and install again.

Thanks, that was one of the first things I suggested, and sent him the links, hes now trying it on his Dad's computer.

I've linked him this thread, so any ideas, are very much appreciated.

So, he disconnected the PMU wire leads from the PDB board, and can connect fine.

Before I told him to check the solder joints, so my guess is that there was not a good electrical connection from the lipo to the PMU.

Asked him to check the pads too, in case they lifted up off the PDB.
