The first video from the Horizon Airmeet on sunday!
Not the complete flight and mostly the planes are too fast for the camera but some flybys could be seen and of course the sound !
The comments of the moderators are not always the truth but who cares! Its fast ! The more flights we had the more lipos we had in the planes according the moderators! At the end we had 24S 8000mAh in the plane ! The truth was 12S 3500 SLS!

Horizon Air Meet 2012 High Speed Typhoon-F3Speed-Modell und Typhoon XS: SPW (3 min 25 sec)

The flight of the two Typhoons was one of my highlights at the Airmeet. These are the sickest planes ever build with an electric engine. I dared to make a video cause they were so freaking fast!

Haha, the narration is hilarious. Nothing like a little exaggeration and drama!

yes the announcer are great - on saturday they said
"next we have fast hotliners, it will be fast now, around 300 km/h
my girlfriend asked me: do they fly only with 4S Lipo???
and great is when they say to the crowed : try to follow the planes with your eyes LOL.... I am thinking about the whole time with what I should follow a plane when not with my eyes ???

Today i had time to clean a little my working place and prepare everything for the problematic waste collection next week! When you stack everything together, you get aware the first time of how much kg of resin and hardener and of course money you worked in the last molds Stefan and i did! The big ones down in the back carried 30 kg of mold resin each, The small ones above 5 kg of aviation accredited resin each for the planes, props and so on and the metal ones in front 5 kg of tooling mold resin each ! And we are not finished yet as we have to finish the Typhoon XXS mold now, and the next project turned up the last days! So time for ordering the next 50 kg of resin !

Hi guys!
At the moment Typhoon-production is shutdown, as Im working on about 30 new speed folder props, that for every setup available a suitable prop will be available! In the range from 7x10-12x26!
We also will go to a flying show this weekend if weather permits it called "Scorpion day" where a german importer for Scorpion motors shows the full range of motors, controllers and so on. And Stefan and i will show the power tuned Powercroco-Scorpion motors can deliver when flying with our Typhoons!
As weather is getting ugly and autumn is here in germany, we we will go back to cellar soon and start the production mold for our "little baby" Typhoon XXS!
Then lots more pictures will be found here in this thread !
And for next year a Typhoon is going turbine with an IQ Hammer 90 !
12 kg thrust for under 4 kg flying weight will be enough for good acceleration ! We will figure out everything and had to talk to the manufacturer if we can replace thrust with speed to get beyond the 500 km/h !

Ciao, Marcus

Hi Sebbe!
You are the first who gets the new 10x23 and 11x22 for testing! I modified the root to a minimum for reducing drag! Stable enough for over 10KW ;-)!
