over size mugi

hi there i have build this super size mugi
120x80cm corex sheet

motor ntm2836 2700
goes vertical like hell(to hell),very stable

i had few crashes with it , that put my battery to their grave
how do you protect your battery?

my flying weight is about 600-700g
i had to use hot-glue do some reinforcement

CG about 30cm aft LE

it was my first corex RC, i didnt really think about the CG and many other things
but i had great time with it

this motor have great echo

i am sure gonna build this one again
but i have yet tested those 3 corex

I added a foam pool noodle fuselage that acts as a shock absorber in a crash...seems to work as I have not had any battery damage since. See http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1727654 (I also changed the shape a bit, but that was only partly to do with protecting the battery)
