Canopy and Cowl's ???????

O.K., so I finally tracked down the Palmer plan's at Precision Cut Kit's. They tell me to get canopy and cowl's at FiberTech. But when I check there they show no longer providing accy's for the Palmer OV-10.

So now what do I do? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks much,

John

I really don't know John When I was building the canopy frame, I could just see me screwing up some of the panels, and there are a lot of them. So I went to the website to see if I could order another just in case. The parts were gone! I got lucky and mine all worked out. If I were you I would try to call them and talk to a warm body about it because it is my understanding that they have the molds. Maybe sweet talk them into pulling some for you?

Thank's JM and FM!

Thanks for the tip's guy's. If I can't make any headway I might stick with Rich's 80" version or wait for the 109" to be ready. 80" is a bit smaller than I want and 109" is to big, 96" is just right... now where have I heard that story before? I spoke to Rich about a month ago. He is about finished with the plan's and details on the 109" version. He is still deciding wether to publish in MAN or market it himself. Sometime later this year.

John, awesome job on your's!

Thank's again,

John

Thanks John
I need to get back on mine soon. Haven't finished the cockpit yet and I will be changing it over from 6s to 8s. Plus I have to check out the gear doors since she sat down on her belly at Vegas because old dumba$$ bound the rec with the gear switch in the down position. We heard a crunch so we just left the gear down on maiden and decided to fight it again later.
That was the only flight. We lost too many planes to RFI and I just wouldn't take a chance with it.
