I've been a Costco member for well over a decade now. Come to mention it I've never seen a gun there either, or managed to get myself shot. And our cops are armed.

btw, avoid their clip on sunglasses. They're way too flimsy in the middle and end up sitting cockeyed on your glasses.

Police shootings happen a lot, and it doesn't require the victim being armed.

The amount of violence has a lot to do with why this guy was shot. Its also the reason he carries in the first place.
I certainly agree with who ever called the cops in the first place. Better to be safe than sorry and ironically they DID find a irresponsible gun owner. The man behaved like a baby having his soother taken away from him which lead to his death.

You agree with whoever called the cops in the first place? They are the ones who created the impression of Erik as a dangerous person, when it wasn't valid.

So, you are in agreement with creating a false police report which results in the death of a citizen.

Surprisingly the victim's narcotic addiction has not come up here!?!?

Nope, they were presenting what they thought to be a threat to all involved. Had the fool simply complied things would have worked out just fine.

Interesting how folks try to prevent incidence without gun fire isnt it.

Huh? There wasn't any incident to prevent. The one that CostCo created DID end in gun fire, didn't it.

Erik left with the rest of the customers. It wasn't until he was yelled at that anything of 'incident level' even happened. If Erik was such a threat, how come he wasn't still in the store menacing people with his <gasp> gun?

Really? What do you base that upon?

Frankly, if you feel there was some suicidal penchant, he had access to enough painkillers to do so.

He was on prescription medication specifically for a high level of back pain, not for some addiction or desire for suicide.

He was at CostCo, with his girlfriend, shopping.


I currently have a prescription for oxycodone, and at one time, had enough in me to just about stop urination. Do you diagnose me as having a penchant for suicide, or an addiction?
