Light weight 9X receiver
I use to build indoor model but it is difficult to find a light weight receiver for my turnigy 9X TX.
I use FS-R6b but it is big compared to others indoor receiver.
I was just wondering if it is possible to buy pcb from wltoys f929 that is 4CH receiver with 2 servo on it and fit 6A ESC on DC motor output.
I think I could mod simonk ESC firmware to have PWM on input instead PPM on my 6A ESC.
Do you think it is possible ?
Is there any interest to do that ?

Flash your 9X with er9X and put together a hack module from either a DX4e or one of the low power controllers.
Then you can use any small dsm2 compatible receiver.
There is also a thread on here about making a DIY Spektrum module that would not require you to run er9x. Uses an arduino board and the modules mentioned above.
