Extreme-Flyers X350 - Controller Died
I have one of these heli's http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1560657
So far, the receiver has died twice, and I've spent $50 each time replacing it, and recently the transmitter died and I was quoted $60 to replace it... I really don't want to spend that much on it.
This heli has a 5-in-1 receiver that only works with its controller, its a all in one receiver & speed controller.
I have a Spektrum DX8 transmitter and spare receiver, so I was wondering, would it be possible to put in my own receiver and buy a speed controller that would then work the motors so I can get this up and running using my Spektrum remote?
If so, can someone suggest that I need in the way of speed controllers?
