Well, luckily a little rainstorm passed by this town a couple of hours ago, leaving behind perfect weather. No wind, no sun to blind my eyes...

I'm going out to get my Porter up.
Enjoy! I know what it's like, not flying for a while. But the first flight feels SOOOOOOOOOOO good

I haven't flown since August 28th... Unless I manage to find a plane sometime between now and December, my next opportunity won't be until I go home over Christmas.

That's a shame. You should get a cheap-o RTF to toss around until you get home

What a great morning! Dead calm out, all aircraft except the little Flyzone Albatross flew flawlessly. Had the 750mm P47 up so high it went into a cloud, lost it from view for a couple seconds, then it popped out of the cloud about 300 yards downrange, the whole time I'm saying, "WHERE'S MY DAMNED PLANE??!!", and out it pops on the other side of the cloud...pretty hairy there for a minute...

I'm actually thinking about a Blade Nano CPX so that I can fly indoors once winter hits. My CP heli skills haven't been used in awhile but I'm sure it wouldn't be a big problem....

Great day! Got nine total batteries in. Two each on the MUS, Maxford Ultimate, and my HK T-34. I maidened my Eflite T-34 and ended up putting all three batteries through it.

Hoping to catch a window tomorrow.

Come on Rudy, I know you. Sheet of foam and the pig sticker you use for a knife, 15 minutes and you'll have a plane.

I took my Champ out today, first time in over a year for her.
The old magic came right back. Heck even got to battle a pair of crows that decide the football field was theirs. Showed them who's da boss, she did.

It's kind of hard to say. It may be that I'm used to the smaller one. The larger one seemed a little pitch sensitive. Even with 20% expo. After I got it trimmed out I started feeling more comfortable with it. More stable than the 35" one for sure. I don't know if it's the droops or what, but that plane didn't want to come down. I had to make four passes at the runway before I touched down. I'm planning on taking it back out this evening.

Are you using the flaps? Maybe that's what is making the plane floaty.

No. I'm not. I was thinking of adding the servo for the flaps to slow it down.
