Help!
hubsan X4 H107C seems dead

I'm a beginner with anything RC and this is my very first post here, so apologies from the beginning if I'm asking something trivial or a faq.

I got the Hubsan X4 H107C (with a camera) from banggood.com sometime in the fall of 2013 and after 1-2 weeks I couldn't fly it anymore. The four leds do not even turn on when I connect the battery. The transmitter led turns red when I turn it on and the transmitter batteries are brand new. The lipo battery is also fully charged. This guy on youtube seems to have a similar problem and some people say it's a bug in the PCB.

Hubsan X4 H107C camera version - can't start motors (front-left LED is blinking) (0 min 49 sec)

Anybody having similar problems? Any idea how to diagnose or how to fix? Thanks!

I have an X4 107L and the instruction sheet has a TX reset that might help.
Guess you could try it.
For mode 2 TX.
Pushing the two sticks to the upper left position , while at the same time turning the TX on; rotate both sticks all four directions. Then hold down a random trim button until the TX LED blinks, which means the TX is reset.
This YT video might help even if it is in Chinese .

Hubsan X4 Joystick Recalibration MODE 2 (1 min 3 sec)

just tried that and it did what it was supposed to do, I think. One thing that was different for me than the video is that nothing happens when I move the throttle up/down. In the video it displays numbers from 0 - 100.

Still, the quad lights won't come on and the engines seem dead. I think the problem is not with the transmitter, but with the quad itself, either the battery, or the pcb. I'd be happy to buy a new board and replace it, but I'm not sure that this is not some design bug.

Maybe one of the cables that connect the battery to the board is cutted. Check the cables!

Indeed, a bad connection could be the culprit, although I have looked at the board and I saw nothing obvious. I'll check again though.
