Syma S033G help

I'm new to RC helis and just bought the S033G. I would like to get a battery with longer flight time, mine is the 7.4v model. Any suggestions? Will I also need to buy a new balancer/charger?

Welcome to the Forum,

A Lot of the guys, Myself included, are using 2s 7.4v Li-Po's in the 1800mAh to 2200mAh range. You would have to install a different connector on the battery lead from the Heli to match the stock battery lead on the After market Li-po.

You would either need to make a battery tray for the bigger battery or fasten it below the canopy.

You would also need to buy a balancer/charger.
