I have tried many different blades on my E640, from 610 to 640mm, depending on various power systems I have used on it. After all of that, I find I prefer the 620mm Rotor Techs which I now get from Leisure-Tech Products in Canada.

Hi Rotoraddict, I'm using a set of sharp, light KSJ paddles and the cyclic is fine. So is the collective for that matter. When I said things happen slowly with the Swift I was comparing it to the little 450s that seem to do everything at light speed. While I appreciate your wish to be helpful, I was giving my impression of my Swift's behavior, not asking for advice.

As to the rotorspeeds, I measured them with an old optical tachometer I've had for 15 years or so... I put a new battery in it to measure because you asked about it. Could the numbers be off 200 rpm? Meh, maybe so, but judging by the way the heli flies they seem right.

In any case, if I gave the impression that I'm unhappy with the way the Swift flies, it was unintentional. It's a great middle ground between my 450s and bigger glow powered machines. I like it a lot...

Thanks for the info on the blades guys. Got the kit opened up and man it's a really nice quality kit for the price. It's a shame more people don't fly these. I want to try 626mm blades so maybe rails will work.

BTW can the E640 use 660mm blades?
