MMW Carbon Micro-H

Well, saw the Micro-H quad at Micro-Motor-Warehouse and looked like a "mini-me" to my QAV250 so decided to get it and build it.

Here's what I went with:
Complete Carbon Micro-H Quadcopter
CL-0820-15 Motors
AlienWII Controller with LemonRX (OrangeRX Module on Taranis)
Turnigy Nano-Tech 750mAh 1S
55mm Hubsan X4 Props

Very simple to build and setup, just got to have some soldering skills. I took heatshrink to the wires since they are very small and didn't want them cutting on the carbon fiber. I heat shrunk them to the frame in all 4 corners to hold the wires down, trimmed the wires and soldered to the board. After the binding, it was pretty much ready to fly.

Used velcro to hold the batteries to the bottom. But had an issue with that because the quad would land on the bottom. I didn't want to put the batteries on the top because I plan on doing a Micro-FPV setup on it. So I designed and printed some feet that extended below the battery.

I may re-design the feet a little later on and move them further out towards the motor mounts. Right now they are just pressed on and glued with a little bit of CA onto the lower screw heads.

I haven't really gotten it outside to fly yet but it flies really well indoors, rate mode and horizon mode.

I love that little frame but as Benedikt says its a little on the heavy side. Maybe some dark force editions would give it the power it needs etc. Looks nice thought about getting one myself soon

What kind of flight times are you getting with that 750mah battery?

Was getting 5-7 minutes before VTX and camera, about 4-5 after.

Might need the stronger motors with the video gear.

There are two versions of the nanotech 750mah, one with additional JST and one without, the lipo without the JST is a bit lighter and is part number NE-BA931. I just picked up one of these from a buddy on RCG so looking forward to this thread growing and hopefully I can add something to the thread as well!

I just maidened my micro H. I made a couple of modifications over the stock for my own use. It flies very nicely

I used:
820-17 motors and Hubsan X4 props.
AlienWii and Lemon Satellite
Carbon Micro H frame (switched to all nylon from steel and saved about 4g on the frame)
I switched from the Micro-Losi Battery connector to a UMX connector and
I am using a Hyperion 1S 240mAh battery

All up weight is 42g

Update: flight time
Flight time around my apartment is 3:30 (measured over 5 flights) so pretty decent. Plus with the alienWii, it flies nicer than my modified Nano Qx frames.

Very Satisfied

I'm sure I could fly longer with a 750mAh battery, but I prefer lighter batteries myself and chose the UMX connector so I can use my UMX compatible batteries.
