How do I get a Son of Savage ???

Many years back I had a SOS that I loved. Well now I'm getting back into it, and I'd like to get nother one!

Does anyone sell one of these kits? Can someone provide me a link to any of available versions, balsa, arf, 42, 60, heck just the plans?

Three sources I can think of.

Ebay and other auctions sites like it.

RCGroups "For Sale" board

Joe Manor...on these boards. He did a run of the SOS 42 and offered kits...glass fuse and foam cores. I don't know if he still has any that he is willing to part with though. I bought one of his kits and it is of high quality.

At any rate, good luck!

Joe Manor made a few replica SOS kits a few months ago. Dunno but you could PM him and see if he has any left.

I have a 60" hiding under my desk here at work. Anyone know if the 42" and the 60" version used the same fuse? Mine is the wood fuse version and something about fiberglass just makes me smile.

the 42" and the 60" use different fuses. I have a bunch of cores, plans, but no time to lay up fuses. I should be back into the swing of things in about a month or so. I have two kits that i still have to make for people and then i can get you a copied short kit if youre interested. joe

Hey Joe,

Hey Joe,

Oran, that would be fine but I dont have any room to work back there right now. I have a custom car that has been three years in the making and the final parts are taking up all the space. Im guessing about a month or so to get the shop ready for model building. I finally have room to breathe so it shouldnt be long now. I totally appreciate your patience. joe
