1/2 size falcon

I used the plans from GO-RC and sized them 50% and constructed a smaller version
weight at this time is 2.5ozs. I am planning to install a park 250 with a 6A, 800mAh 2C & cirrus cs-44 servos. flying weight should be about 4.2ozs.

hey guys, for those of you who have looked at my new thread, you already know that me and my dad are attempting to build a tie bomber. there is just one problem. WE DONT KNOW HOW TO SHAPE FOAM!!! sorry i yelled, its just a lllliittlle frustrating. Our biggest hurdle will not be just the wings but the two fusalages. they need to be hollow as edf fans will be going inside to provide the power. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a sudden idea when i read this that i just had to post it. what if you put a sensor in the r2 units main eye that would always turn in the direction of the signal on your radio control.

Souinds good. Be sure and hit the Tie Fighter thread links on the first page. There is a ton of good information in there.

Heya Paul...

you really need to put up some videos of your project flying, or some pics of the setup you put in that bird. I'm dying to find out what happened to your Phoenix.

Pretty please!

Some very nice people on a gatchaman website provided me with screenshots so the wing art is correct.

Snowspeeder

snowspeeder
Found this if anyone hasn't seen it. This one isn't a full on scale replica, but there probably is some room for tweaks that won't affect flight too much.

RC-USAF.COM.....The sight is french, but they have a good photo with some specs. On the PRESENTATION page there is a pic of the pilot launching the snowspeeder, which gives a decent view of the rear.
