Also, this month's (November 2014) issue of the AMA Model Aviation magazine has another article about the Modifying the Carbon Z Cub. It is on Page 91. The same content is covered in the Podcast.

All I did was compile the mod information in one blog. I should have annotated it to give proper credit to those who first brought the idea forward. I did it for myself originally so I didn't have to search the thread endlessly. In fact, let's give credit here:

Who posted the idea first:
  • Power 60 upgrade?
  • XOAR prop and recommended prop size
  • Morganmill Battery Cartridge System. I know I have the first production one. Gary burned in the serial number with his laser.
  • CubLandingGear?
  • Castle 90 ESC?
  • 6" Kavan's?
  • Calliegraphics?
  • Eflite Aluminum Spinner?
  • Matching Paint at Lowes

Batteries in Canada

Hi guys,

I just picked up a Carbon Z last week and wanted to know where other Canucks are getting their flight batteries from?

I'll be using mine primarily for aerotowing next summer.

Hobby King. If you order them now, you may get them by spring.

Of course you could get them sooner if you're willing to pay for premium shipping.

In the immortal words from the cult classic "Galaxy Quest", "That's just not right!". No one should ever be that good with a new plane. Plus, even a QQ endorsed Cub should not do that. Like those tentacles, they are not supposed to go there! Sorry for the image if you understand, and sorry for the lack of one if you don't!

That said, incredible flying! Still going to fly mine low and slow, wheels down, but fun to watch what skill can do!
