That's pretty awesome looking.
I spotted one of those a few years back from about 10 miles away, drove as close as
I could and then chased it down with my FPV plane. Rough, sinky air, but pretty cool.
FPV - South Park - Mountain Fog Bank (5 min 59 sec)

On the other side of the mountains it was raining buckets.

Wow Uwe, that thing rocks!

I went to the German forums and found some info. I want to make a simplified one out of foam (not for DS ), should the credit go to you or someone else for the design?
I love forward swept wings, my current slow bird:

Could you tell me where the CG is on this, so I don't have to recalculate. Danke Schön

This is some of the best engineering on the planet. The symbiosis of the different systems from fuel , to pump that's run by a F1 engine to the rocket Just brilliant..... People are awesome Take some time and watch a few more of there tests. Also the composites in this are top shelf.
She will do 1000mph watch this space next year

I have been Kite Buggying for over 4 years and it's a whole lot of fun taking the power of the wind (with a foil style kite) to scoot you along a deserted beach at over 70 kph but while foils have been used on snow, I believe that the LEI (Leading edge Inflatables) used in this vid, are the best option. I'd sure like to give it a go though : )
