Thanks. I'm glad the flash overexposed the pic - but should look OK from a distance

Not practical, but a warplane gotta have some rockets!

My better half broke off the air data probe on mine (pointy bit at the front), which got me looking up photos of 904 Black.

901 was the test bird (with ADP), 902 was the same colours, and 904 never got airborne - crashed off the end of the runway, and burnt to the waterline!

Good colour scheme to choose!

(but the outcome was: 904 Black was never fitted with an ADP, so it should actually have the needle on the nose. So in the end, smacking the jet into the wall actually made it more scale. go figure)

I've got a big piece of foam painted red over the nose - remove before flight - but it's only a matter of time ...

Finished product. Took a few more hours to make them pretty. Just used zip ties to hold them on for the moment, until I can figure a way to make them easily removable for transport.

Adds charm

So are the pylons CA'd or magnets?

Looks cool - let us know how (if at all) it affects the flight manners. Might be just the thing to stop it looking like an air show group asset :P

The hard points are CA'd. I ran out of magnets getting the battery hatch of the Sharkplane to stay on!

Should slice off OK if need be. A dab of grey paint will cover the scars. That said, it looks fairly 'clean' and I've added keychain cameras and drop tanks to other planes without much effect to handling. Will let you know.

But now that they're on, I can't imagine my Flanker being without them!
