I don't know if the products are superior but I have found myself to be a collector of the E-Flite blade helicopter.

So far Ive had the following

Original Blade CP
Blade CX2 X 2 of those

I own the following, what the heck???

2 Blade MSRs
Blade Tandem Rescue
MCPX
Blade CP Pro 2 many upgrades
Blade SR many upgrades
Blade 400 (my second one after I got rid of the first)

Then I found myself wanting the 130X the 300X and the 500X.

I think its their very nice choices of color schemes and upgrades, their boxes look really nice too. I don't know but this is getting a little ridiculous.

Anyone else hooked on these?

Really, they're not a bad choice given the balance of performance, cost, time to fly from box and parts availability at many LHSs.

you have the HELI-ITUS disease. It is incurable and no known cure except for batteries and nitro which only calms the disease down. Some have the opposite effect where batteries or nitro disturbs the disease and kicks into high gear.

I still own more non-Blade helis, but have been turning into a big fan of the Blades. My current Blade inventory:

I was thinking about getting a 250 size CP next, but now I'm thinking I might jump onboard with the 130 X

Yea man that thing looks pretty sweet.

I kinda wish they would do a few more scale subjects.

I cant decide wether to go for the 130 or 300x both look nice..... maybe I just get both lol

I like the 120 SR for flying in the yard (100' x 150'). I have to take the 450 behind the house into my field to feel like I have enough space. I think the features of the 300 X appeal to me more than the 130 X, but I think the 300 X will feel like it needs more space than the front yard can offer.

I've looked at other helis, like the Walkera V120D02, as an alternative to the 130 X, but something just keeps drawing me back to the Blade.

For serveral years, it seemed to me that blade helis were barely on part with helimax(not that they are great). They have gotten a whole lot better recently. I wouldnt even thumb my nose at them anymore.

Only 2 so far:

Scout CX and mCX2. But have been thinking about adding a CX2 and/or mQX.

I've got a mcpx, mqx and a 450 3d that has been converted to fbl.

I have a mcx, 120, and a 400.
Going to to get the mqx soon, and the 130, aaaand the 500 sooner or later

I have one... Scout CX... and MCPX will be here by Saturday, after that probably the 300X, love the look and size.

I agree that E-Flight makes some gorgeous helis. My SR is by far the handsomest of hem all. The blue anodized tail boom is really nice. I ended up giving my two coax helis to my brother to learn on so I am down to the last 3. 450 3D is next I think. It depends on when I get good with it on my sim.
