Spot welding...for up and coming turbine build

Hi, any ideas on a homebuilt Spot Welders? about to embark on a gas turbine build and need to build the combustor unit etc.

I could afford to buy a TIG unit, but not sure on the availability of gas for this. MIG is possible, got a home type unit but again gas is a pain to come by...I only use this unit with flux cored wire.

The SS sheet is only 0.5 mm or so...with 0.8 for some sections.

I have seen homebuilt spot units on Ytube, which are interesting...any basic plans on how to wire these up?

Spot Welder controller

I make a controller that I use with a Harbor Freight, Spot Welder. The controller controls Power from 1% to 100%, and time from .1 sec to 4 sec, in .1 sec incerments. I have also modified the electrodes on the welder. I have a couple extra circuts boards I can populate with parts and make some controllers to sell.

Not a problem, The unit I make ( the one in the pic) works on 110/220, 50/60 hz. but it does have to be single phase. If you need 3 phase I can do that to.

It is very easy to do spot welding or projection welding. Many type of welding machines are available in the market but our company's machines are one of the best in welding and you can weld any type of metal easily.
