These are physical sizes, N=.38 diameter, C (I think you mean sub-C or Cs) it is .88 , AA is .580 and A is .66 actual sizes will vary slightly depending on manufacture and oversleeve thickness. -- Red S. Go to www.sanyobatteries.com and look in the specs there for the dimensions
on the different cells. Not sure how to tell NiCd from NiMh. Probably on the website somewhere.
