Hey guys, I have the day off today!
Was wondering if anyone was planning on heading out to stoney to run a few batts?

Sorry Greg, but I am just a working stiff that didn't have the foresight to take the day off today. Enjoy the flying though.

Yea I know what you mean, this is one of the rare days. However, you could retire any time you want, I have a while yet .

Even if you are retired, some of the spur of the moment things just don't work out. Most of what I do is scheduled well in advance.

Like tomorrow, Saturday, I am going to Addison oaks to watch DLG gilders. I am possibly meeting Jordon there, that is if he emails me his phone #. This has been on the calendar for a couple of days, as long as nothing else pops up to interfere.

I suppose I really don't need to call Jordon, as he is fairly easy to pick out of a crowd.

Jordon if you read this I will be there 11:00 ish

Sorry I didn't check your later post this AM. I stopped by Stoney this morning and met Rick there. He looked like he was there for the duration....lawn chair , sun umbrella, drinks and many planes.

I put two batts through my GB and u were right.....piece of cake. Don't know why I had so much trouble trying to fly it last year

Also went out this evening and flew the T28 with Basil , Rudy and Ron

I plan to be out at the field today around 1:30. Rudy plans to be there as well. Anybody else want to join?
