Looking for low wing trainer

As the title says i am looking for my first low wing trainer. Either RTF or ARF 40-60 size glow or gas.. I font knw much about gas yet so i would have more questions if thats what i decided..Also would prefer a taildragger if possible..

Been looking at the Pulse xt 40-60 ARF..Not sure if this is a trainer model though?
Or the Hobby Zone Sky Raider?
Any suggestions? Links to sights would help to..

Thanks guys..

I have had great success in the beginning of this hobby, and have gone through 5 of the World Models sky raider MK2 literally flying them till the covering comes off,and they have the strongest wing spar I have ever had the pleasure of trying to break cheap well i looks as if the price has gone up quite a bit they were selling for around $65 bucks many years ago and look to be going for $120 now.

I do like that plane and the price is just unbeatable..Especially when take in to consideration it only takes 4 servos and a .46 motor instead of a .61was hoping for a 60 sized plane but maybe at this point in my life this is the right direction to go..

Phoenix scanner. Cheap, easy to mod to td, would be good for a buddy box, great for aerobatics later

Lots of people where I fly have Sig Four Stars in one size or other.

I flew a buddy's. They are nice flying and fairly tame planes.

Yep, I have a 120, with a DLE20 and just as described, easy to take off and land and a blast to fly. My only problem I have with it is the size, I forget that it is bigger than my Kadet and wind up to far away on landing and hit the corn, twice. Thankfully only knocked the tail wheel off once, but screwed back on after munching the holes back down and shooting some CA on them.

I am wanting a 40 size one now for my 52 FS, and I know where to get a yellow ARF. If it is still there next time I go to my LHS, its mine.

I have both the 4*40 and the escapade and both would be fine. The escapade is a little narrower so if room is an issue that would help.
I could be wrong but I believe my 4* does not have the mounting plate for separate aileron servos. The escapade does come with the ability to use one or two servo's for ailerons. I like using two. Good luck.

Only the 120 uses dual aileron servos. I had to take the covering off the wings of my 4*120 today, I noticed a bulge on one wing at the spar and found the spar had separated from the rims. It's an ARF, and all hotmelt was used, and not very much. Its all good now. Glad I forgot my gas the other day, or I may have lost a wing or both and the plane.

Is it really necessary to have a low wing trainer before getting some other type of low wing plane?

I have a bunch of high wing planes and a few low wing non-trainer type and one mid wing and I can't say I've every noticed one wing type to be more difficult to fly than the other.
