A proper comparison required both to be on the same equipment and you are in luck that I've these birds with "almost" the same equipment.

Mini - carbon frame, 5065MG, 3500G, beastX, yge 60A esc v4, hyperion motor for 6s, edge 325mm blades.

ProV2 - carbon frame, 5065MG, 3500G, beastX, yge 60A esc v4, stock align motor on 6s, edge 325mm blades.

Performance - very close so even. The stock ProVe on 3S out performed the mini on the stock scorpion 8. However, both are pretty even on 6S.

Structure on a crash - have broken align frame. Have yet to break the mini frame. Mini is a bit more forgiving because the main bearing blocks are plastic versus metal on the ProV2.

weird but did u just buy the kits and then filled up with your own setup? i think the mini comes with alot different stock setup than the align, and that is the part i am most interested too.
But your information is not useless, it is quite good so i can conclude the mini protos is more robust than the trex 450 pro v2 3gx, so for that i thank you.
I still am looking for a stock vs stock comparison btw.

Yes ... my LHS offers me the opportunity to purchase just the airframe.

There is no "stock vs. stock" comparison because the mini does not come with servo and fbl unit. The combo offer from MSH would be (1) frame, motor, esc and blades for $415; (2) frame, motor and blades for $329; and (3) barebones kit or frame only for $269.

The align 450 ProV2 super combo is $479 (everything except tx, rx & batt.)

Mini super combo is $415 + 120 for 3x5065MG + $79 for 3500G + $220 for rx ready beastx or $834. Of course, the 5065, 3500G, yge 60A and beastX are better than the DS410M, DS510, 35X and 3GX.

It's expensive unless: (1) you can get a discount from elektrorc or MSH direct; (2) buy a used one; or (3) use cheaper electronic.

One, with pretty good electronic, is for sale over at RR for $550 shipped.

Well that probably means stock by stock trex is no match for mhs otherwise it wouldnt make ALOT of sense to make the price almost double, so in other words mhs if you can afford, i guess my question was a bit silly indeed as i tought they were both comparable in price range.

Thanks for your help mate ^^
