Whip antenna

Hello,
Could someone tell me where i can purchase a whip antenna setup for a 72mhz rec?
Also how well do they work? Thanks. Greg

Dreamworks carries them, or at least they used to. With the advent of 2.4 they may not stock em anymore. They work well, only way to get >3Kw EDF's to work reliably on 72 before I switched to 2.4...

IBCrazy is known for making very nice antennas and have become "standard" for FPV

Whip Antenna Source

W S Deans company makes the deans connectors as well as the antennas for 72 and 75 MhZ. I used them on some of my gasoline powered plane and they worked just fine. Try the link below.

When I used them, I used the 2 piece system. You mount the electronics (blue part of the assembly) and the base (threaded portion) in the model and then the antenna screws to the base. Removable antenna makes it easier to transport the model and if it isa scale model, you can remove the antenna for static display
