One of the guys at the field told me about these batteries today. I guess my next order will have to be from them. What he said about their customer service is exactly what I see here. They really seem to stand behind their product and take care of their customers. That gets my attention right there.

Peace

Not-Here, you will love the Haiyin packs! I have been using them since they first came out and probably have at least 30 of them. They have been absolutely great! I did receive a pack or two with dead cells and Haiyin immediately replaced them and told me to do what I want with the bad packs. THAT is great customer service. They stand behind their products. They have a warehouse in the USA and I usually receive my packs in less than a week. Their pricing is very competitive but not as cheap as the horrible HK packs which have failed me on way too many occasions. I won't even use any of those ultra cheap packs anymore. Haiyin is all I use!

Haiyin 6S 8000 mAh 10 C

Hi
I have a plane with an Actro 60-200 electric engine in. Iím running this on 12S, This set up draws approximately 75 A at maximum speed. I have used 12 S 5000 mAh batteries so far but the flight times are short with this set up.
Then I came across Haiyin 10C 6s 8000 mAh batteries, these batteries are light as well as they do have more mAh than my batteries I use now. BUT Ė they are only 10C. At full speed my set up draws somewhere around 3200 Ė 3400 W and if I do my mathís correct one of these batteries can take 1776 W and two in parallel can take 3536 W.
Will these batteries be able to perform in my plane or will I abuse them and destroy them?

I donít know if I dare to try this batteries in my plane, I hope some of you have tried or have some experience and can give me some answers.

Best regards from Norway

How can you go from 12S to 6S with the same motor without suffering serious performance issues?

Where did you see those packs? I can't find them at www.haiyinstore. I am not sure why you are using watts in your equation. The simple answer is these batteries are capable of delivering only 80 AMPS. You say you draw 75A so you are very close to top demand from these packs. The 75A draw of your motor may not include the absolute peak of the amp draw so you may be overtasking those packs.

You may consider connecting 2 or more 12s batteries in parallel or 4 or more 6s batteries in both parallel and series (2P2S) to get additional mah capacity and/or higher current flows.
