Looking for brushed ESC

Hello,

I am looking for a brushed ESC with reverse for a pair of sp600, probably 30-40 amp 16V max. Could someone point me to a source?

I might have to change out the sp600s to a small brushles motors. Brushed motors are history!

Need one inrunner with same mounting pattern as the sp600 and has a 1/8" shaft!

What boat are you going to power with two Speed 600 motors if I may ask?

If forward only is sufficient, I'd get two of these:

Jan,

It is a barge! I am converting an old flat bottom boat to use as a retrieval boat for float flying. Use it to tow or push stranded planes to shore. So reverse is important to maneuver around the stuck aircraft. I can use the non-reverse ESC and add a DPDT relay to switch direction on the motors.

I do not remember the bolt pattern on the Speed600, but I think it should be the standard 19mm. Go for a pair of inrunners around 3650 like:

as it has the same size shaft and these ESCs:

This particular series has reverse, so you're ok.

Thanks, that all look good but another $200.00! I think I will stay with a cheap brushed ESC, and run the motors in series!

I have one on a scale boat and it performs really nice. Look for any crawler dual ESC, it has a very good low rev control.

The bolt pattern for the Speed-600 is the same as speed-500(25mm between M3 holes). 19mm was for the speed-400/480 size motors. The Proboats 40 A marine esc for brushed is still availlable:

The Proboat ESC doesn't seem to work well at low revs, if I'm informed correctly.

If you can solder and want to pay the shipping accross the pond, two of these kits (either with or without BEC) will work a treat for a Speed 600:
