that would also require a regulator or high voltage servos.

now you have added one more thing in the system to fail, more complexity and another component to find a place for.
.
dunno what you are on about

all the lemonRx are good to go with 1s lipo, and a glider doesn't need the grunt of 6v to move the surfaces we are contriolling

i have flown pure 2s and pure 1s systems, using lemonRx (and orange too, but less reliably at under 4v, which a 600mah 1s can supply for a few hours at that load)

fire risk unless you are shot down by ordnance is zero i would suggest

dymond d47's handle 2s no problem, but fly just as fine with 1s - other servos are your own risk

Some receivers won't handle unregulated 2S LiPo. I use 1S with Airtronic and Tactic receivers with no problems.

the stock battery is a ballast factor, I guess there are some lead heads out there

work out the mass required for balance

plug it into this :
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...figuration.asp

choose 1s and available size factor - buy a battery

the nanotech 1s 600mah is great in the binary - > 8 hours air time (with 20% residual charge) and no ballast at all

ymmv; dymonds are really frugal on the draw
