The Sud Caravelle would be another one on my wish list. We flew the last passenger carrying Caravelle (N98KT) around from '77 till '84. $2,500/hr to fly it back then. Whoa Nellie ! Talk about a babe magnet though. The RR Avons would get everyone's attention on take off. I think it's been modeled somewhere.

Didn't mean to steer DD's thread off course but while we're at it, here was N98KT in front of our hangar @ KMKE:

Plane was sold in '84 to a flying club and ended up on the ramp in Van Nuys. They changed the livery. Never flew again. Great memories. The closest I ever got to flying this one was riding in the jump seat but that was a blast. In those days, most airliners were still a 3 man crew. Was a relatively low hour instrument at the time.
