JR Receiver with Graupner Brushless Control 18

Hi all,

I just started my RC hobby and have currently some issues with getting my Graupner Rookie to work with my transceiver and receiver.

I bought the pre-built Graupner Rookie, which already has the servos and the electric motor installed.

I separately bought on Ebay:
- JR NER-549x receiver 35mhz
- JR X-3810 transceiver 35mhz on PPM mode

However when i connect the two Graupner servos and the Graupner Brushless control 18 to the receiver, the brushless control keeps giving a blink red light, indicating an error. It also does not make the DO RE sound it should make. I must say that the two servos are easy to plug into the receiver, but the brushless control connection goes a little difficult into the receiver.

At some point when I had my controller on ZPCM the servos started to move like crazy in all directions, but I assume it should be on PPM?

Is the Receiver not compatible with the Graupner Brushless control?

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Rob
