It looks great alpea! I love the simplicity of flat foamy jets and with a great scheme like yours, I would be proud to show that off.

Besides giving a smooth finish does the WBPU + baby powder add some strength to the foam?
We battle to get depron in South Africa but do get something similar but not as strong.

It does add strength but also protects it as well.

Maidened this morning with great success! Very touchy, even on low rates. So much so that I wasn't really keen to try high just yet. I think I'll have to sort out some exponential rates. I'll post a vid when I can. Oh and what a beautiful sound it makes!!!

Are you saying it's sensitive on all the controls or is it just pitch sensitive. Did you do the stock setup meaning full flying elevators using elevon mixing and TV? If that's the case then it shouldn't be roll sensitive. If it's the pitch then it could be that the CG is too far back, tail heavy. But definitely program in some expo. I start out at 30% expo and dial it in from there.

I didn't mean touchy like it's a bad thing but thanks for your concern. I like a sharp, responsive plane as I tend to gently lean on the sticks rather than pushing them around for normal flight. I'd rather start out twitchy and tweak it as I get used to it rather than start dull and try to wring more out of it. 30% sounds like a good starter for sure as it was only the minor corrections that were a bit jerky. It's pretty balanced in terms of pitch and roll (yep to elevons and TV) so I'll fiddle with the expo and then do a bit of flying inverted to have a closer look at the CG but I think that's ok at this stage. I'd be disappointed if this plane didn't get the heart pumping!!

I've just started the painting job... seems to be a lot of work.

Anyone have any idea what or where to get these for the tv system: 1/8" O.D. brass bearing tube
