FS9-FSX Quarter Scale Airplanes
I am asking these dumb questions because a keyword search using "scale" is useless.
I am looking for some quarter-scale MS-FS9-FSX aircraft hoping that they would make a usefull compromise between full-sized aircraft and rc-models. Trying to get aircraft that are more reactive than full-sized, and less reactive than rc-model-sized. I am especially interested in civilian aircraft from this short list:
Piper PA-18 Super Cub (HobbyZone Super Cub)
Cessna 172 Skyhawk (E-Flite-Aprrentice-15)
Piper PA-28 Cherokee (ParkZone Archer)
Quad City Challenger (BusyBee)(Not EasyStar)
Touring MotorGliders: Fournier-RF-5 / Scheibe-SF25C-Falke / Diamond-H36-Dimona / Grob-G109
Asking for links/pointers to already made and tested aircraft, I mean surely I am not the first person to think of this.
If half scale or third scale would be better, please speak up
If this "quarter-scale" idea does not really work, please explain.
If using some form of "time-factor" is a better idea, again please explain.
If scaling/modifying is super easy, what do I need to change besides percent of length, width, height?
Thanks in advance
