I have the same setup on the Yak 48" but with the G10 servo arm and there I can hit the elevator.

This is why i asked about the throw used on the Laser.

My question is how much throw is necessary on the Laser?
im using the standard savox arm

Inverted harrier

Hi everyone,

I'm having a bit of trouble getting the 48" Laser EXP into an inverted harrier. Upright harriers are very nice, but for inverted, I find that there's a big range of angle of attack where it gets squirrely and tip-stally.

Skillwise, I've been drilling low inverted harrier figure eights on my Twisted profile foamy for weeks and I'm finally comfortable and confident with the required rudder. But the foamy does spoil me with no tippiness, at any angle of attack.

Is it just getting used to pushing through the full stall and having the nose higher? Certainly I have to push the Laser through this angle range for upright harriers. Maybe I am being too shy on the elevator push for inverted.

C.g. is on the back edge of the bulkhead that is behind the wing tube sleeve. 2814/820, Airboss 45. 4S 2200mah 12x6, 3S 2600mah 14x7 and 13x8. If it matters, Castle 10A BEC, 3x 5070, 1x 5087.

You might try a 25% spoileron mix. Works wonders in upright harrier.

I've been running that mix for about a year now on all my planes. I've got it on a switch for when I don't want to run it (precision maneuvers) and it really helps smooth out the harrier flight.

I actually started experimenting with that mix on the plane you see below.

Laser EXP__Epic (5 min 29 sec)
