My GWS B2
A couple of days ago, while I was at the local hobby shop, I came across a slightly shelf worn box on clearance containing a GWS B2 bomber kit. Since it had the EDF units, I couldn't resist. So I bought it and proceeded to put it together.
I set it up to use a 800mah 2s1p Lipo pack instead of the Nicads and I used a heavier duty brushed ESC as it is like 110 degrees F out here right now and a smaller ESC may not be able to handle the heat. it has two 6g Spektrum Digital servos on the elevons and a Cox 6g servo on the nosewheel. I am using a Turnigy 9 channwl radio with 2.4ghz Assan TX and RX.

Don't know about how it flies yet. Still to be maidened.
39.5 inch wingspan.
It uses two 55mm GWS EDF fans. They have the stock brushed motors in it.
One could go with a pair of 55mm brushless units if they want to increase the power more. I am sure one could easily get a power gain over the cheap brush motors.
I should mention it is a discontinued kit. GWS quit making it.

I know this is over 5 years old- just found the kit and bought it... I plan on using the 50mm and then try hiding those ugly holes under the wings!!!!
