Zephyr V70 Repare Help
Hi.
I had no luck with my zephyr and crashed it on maiden due to some kind of control failure. I have broken and lost this: ( in the picture) I need to repair that, I know that I need a 3mm carbon fibre rod but what about the huge chunk if plastic and foam that when away? Please help!. |

PPoke holes in damaged area with a toothpick,put plastic wrap on good wing, slide wings together and apply large amount of epoxyµ ballons to damaged area.Shape and sand epoxy to proper shape (this might take several applications).When area is back to proper shape drill epoxy for carbon rod ,Put it back together and sand all to final shape.You might want to wrap some thin fiberglass cloth over your repair extending it onto plastic to help distribute stress.If that does not work,buy another plane and do not crash it!!
