Centering DX6i Gear Channel?
Don't really know where else to put this question : Is there a way to center the gear channel and deactivate the gear switch on a DX6i?

I don't have that radio but I would try using the travel adjustment on the gear channel. Set the travel to zero in both directions then it won't matter which position the switch is in.
Then use subtrim on the gear channel to fine tune where you want the neutral position to be.

use this little program mix (patent pending)::
MAS (master)=GEAR, SLV (slave)=GEAR, MIX=-100%, -100%, SWT (switch)=ON (always on)
(check pages 70 to 73 in your manual)
how it works?
switch down tells move -100%, but the program tells move the same but in the other way at the same time, then remains at 0 position (center).... the same with switch up...
